    Long Beach, CA – The Long Beach Police Department needs help from the public in locating or identifying a Hit-and-Run driver who ran over a pedestrian twice with a white or beige Ford Expedition.

    According to reports, a female identified by police as Maria Sierra, 55 was crossing Anaheim Street southbound from the northeast curb of Ohio Avenue in an unmarked crosswalk when she was hit by a white or beige Ford Explorer that initially traveled westbound on Anaheim Street near Ohio Avenue.

    After the initial impact, the Ford Expedition reversed and conducted a right turn traveling northbound on Ohio Avenue, striking the pedestrian a second time as it fled the scene.

    Moments later after the SUV departed, the woman was struck by a 2006 Cadillac driven by a man who remained at the scene. It was reported the woman was pronounced dead at the site.

    Police were contacted at approx 12:45 a.m.
