    Perris, CA – The Perris Police Department (Riverside County Sheriff’s Office-Perris Station) is seeking the public’s help in identifying the Hit-and-Run driver who struck and fatally injured a man who rode his bicycle near Navajo Road and Highway 74 in an area that highway is also known as Fourth St. in Perris.

    According to reports, coroner’s officials identified the bicyclist as 62 year old Steven Marsh.

    The incident occurred in the pre-dawn hours of Monday, October 24, 2016 at around 3:30 a.m. Marsh was transported to an area hospital but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after 7:00 a.m.

    According unidentified witnesses at the scene, the Hit-and-Run vehicle was described as a dark or black in color 2000’s Chevy Malibu.

    The vehicle travelled westbound on Highway 74 when it apparently ran a red light hitting Marsh, who was riding his bicycle southbound on Navajo Rd. attempting to cross the highway and turn east.

    The vehicle is said to have possibly sustained damage to its windshield and front end area, such damage can help identifying it.
