    Traffic Stop Leads To The Arrest of A Wanted Man In Possession Of A Firearm

    Rialto, CA – Tuesday, March 13, 2018 10:48 p.m.  Officers with the Rialto Police Department and a Deputy with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department conducted a traffic stop on a black older model Acura Integra for an unknown traffic violation as Officers refrained from commenting.

    The Integra was occupied by a solo adult Black male. When a search was conducted on the individuals’ information, it revealed the man had a warrant for his arrest on an unknown and possibly unrelated previous charges. Officers conducted a search of the Integra and they located a firearm inside the vehicle.

    The stop took place on Church St just south of Valley Blvd.

    The male denied knowing about or having possession of the firearm which resembled a  black in color Glock handgun.

    A City of Rialto Police Department Prisoner transportation van arrived at the scene and transported the male away to a local jail facility.

    No further details were obtained at the scene.
